Study visit of the Chisinau delegation to Lublin as part of "MOVE IT like Lublin" pro-ject

On November 21-26 a study visit of Chisinau delegation was held in Public Transport Authority in Lublin as part of the "MOVE IT like Lublin" project financed by the EU.


The Chisinau delegation consisted of representatives of the transport management sector. This is the first of three study visits being held as part of an international project led by the capital of Moldova. Throughout their stay in Lublin, ten Chisinau representatives benefited from the ventures of Public Transport Authority, Traffic Management Centre and Municipal Transport Company - Lublin.


During the workshops, representatives of foreign delegation recognised, among others, the arrangement of routes, timetables, sale of tickets and ticket inspections.The goal of visit was to learn about best practices, standards or sets of guidelines in the development of the urban public transport system in order to implement them afterwards in Chisinau.

The project "MOVE IT like Lublin - a Chisinau public transport sustainable development initiative" received funding under the EU program Local Authorities: Partnerships for sustainable cities 2020. The project is being implemented in 2021-2025.
